We are pleased and honored to announce to the scientific community, as well as specialists and experts in Statistics and Operations Research, the celebration of the XLI National Congress of Statistics and Operations Research, along with the XV Conference on Public Statistics, to be held in the city of Lleida from June 10 to 13, 2025.

The development of new tools and protocols for data collection has enabled the potential generation of enormous amounts of information. Combined with the increased capabilities and speed of computing systems and the evolution of programming languages, this has enhanced our ability to solve highly relevant and complex problems. Consequently, the interpretation of complex results and improvement in decision-making are crucial not only in education, scientific research, public statistics, and the business world, but in all aspects of life, providing significant benefits to society as a whole. This congress presents a unique opportunity and a forum for scientific and technical exchange, more open than ever to society and businesses, where academics, researchers, and professionals in Statistics and Operations Research can share ideas and experiences in all areas of these disciplines.

The Organizing Committee and the Scientific Committee invite all those interested in Statistics, Operations Research, and Public Statistics to participate in the Congress, whether from academia, public administration, or the business sector. The congress is open to the presentation of novel results, both from a methodological and applied approach, and to participating in scientific and technical exchanges with other experts. Together, we can highlight the current strengths of these disciplines and demonstrate how scientific advances in our field can contribute to the progress and well-being of 21st-century society.
