Disease Mapping: Empowering Public Health with Spatial Insights
The field of spatial statistics encompasses three primary domains: geostatistics, the analysis of areal data, and point processes. This talk will address areal data analysis, with a focus on developing models to solve public health problems. We will present a selection of recent contributions on this topic from the Spatial Statistics group at UPNA, including examples of insightful real data modelling.
