We describe propogation of epidemics by means of a stochastic model in which higher-order random interactions are allowed. In the limit of a large number of individuals, the dynamics is described by a stochastic differential equation. In this stochastic regime the only possible equilibrium state is the origin. We study conditions for global Lyapunov stability and dissapearance of the disease by dividing the parameter space into the instability, the bi-stability and the globally asymptotically stable regions.
